When was the last time you had a great idea? Chances are, you didn’t execute on it. You found an excuse that made it feel okay to not follow through. You threw it into the “someday” bin.
James Cameron had his idea for Avatar in 1977. Just like you, he didn’t execute. Technologically, it wasn’t feasible.
More than 20 years later, he helped build the cameras to make it possible. $2 Billion in revenue later, it seems like his big idea paid off.
Flip through your someday bin, and see where the limitations have crumbled. I bet you’ll find at least one idea, once relegated here because of a nice, comfortable, safe excuse that has the potential to be great. With innovation happening daily, allowing for better technology, connectivity and productivity – chances are, many of your old excuses no longer hold water.
Perform Alchemy – Perform Miracles – No Pressure
Let your former fear be replaced by a sense of freedom. When you run out of excuses, you really have nothing left to lose. When you first had your idea, you were up against the daunting shadow of greatness. But now, your old idea was already dead once. Dead things are supposed to stay dead, its a rule of nature. Bringing things back from the dead is essentially impossible. You’re supposed to fail! Now that the pressure is off, go do something great. Perform a miracle. Be a hero.
Still not a believer?

No excuses, baby! Live life to the fullest!
I have an example on a slightly lesser scale than Jame Cameron:
A friend and I worked together at a candy store and had a marvelous idea to share our love for foreign candy/chocolate with the world. That was the early days of (audio) podcasting, and we tried to get some materials together to pitch it to a television network.
We had several chocolatiers interested, but we ended up putting the project on hold while we did other things with our lives.
After about 3 or 4 years of sitting on the idea I finally decided to execute in 2009 when it was incredibly easy to create and share 80% of what we wanted the show to be about. I feels good!
The other 20% comes with patience. I'm giddy with that!
I loved the trailer to that film. Half way through I thought: 'Wait… this was shot on a DSLR. Whoa, man, whoa!'
Also, 'Anything that you can imagine can be accomplished.' — Hell yes!!
Everyone want to be great but everyone have excuse for that to having not achieved that, some say they got less chances but i say fate or luck gives chances to everyone once in life and its up to you to grab that and feel that exact time to do that
